Officer Christopher Warren Page was arrested on Thursday by
special agents from the Tennessee Burea of Investigation and charged with
first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse.
Page’s son Gunner suffered life-threatening injuries on September 2 at his Puryear home and died 5 days later, TBI officials said. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information leading to Page as the individual responsible for his son’s death.

Matthew Stowe, the district attorney had asked TBI to probe
Gunner’s injuries and later death.
Page who had been serving with the Paris Police Department
was incarcerated without bond in the Carroll County Jail on Thursday night. The
investigation into the incident continues, with the assistance of the Henry
County Sheriff’s Office.
