DELTA State Commissioner of Police, CP, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba,
has said the robbery gang that stormed a first generation bank in Asaba
last Sunday but was repelled was recruited from Lagos State, based on the
outcome of investigation so far.
He is also of the view that it was the same gang that raided
a bank at Agbor a forth-night ago that attempted the Asaba raid.Speaking in
Asaba, the CP said the kingpin (sponsor) that brought the gang from Lagos had
been discovered and vowed that his residence would be demolished in the
next few days to serve as deterrent to people with similar intention.He was,
however, silent over the location of the building.
