Afro beat musician, Femi Anikulapo Kuti, and Starboy, Wizkid, are currently in the studio doing what they know how to do best. An ecstatic Femi posted about the song, Jaiye jaiye, on Twitter.
He tweeted, “Off to bed, BIG day 2mor performing at Nigerian Idols then must rush to the studio to record with Wizkid.” As a father, Femi had to find time in his busy schedule to feature on Starboy’s song.
He tweeted, “But you stress me a little coz I perform that day and have to rush to the studio then travel next day to France when I should be resting ooo lol!!”
An apologetic Wizkid showed his appreciation and gratitude for Femi’s time. He tweeted back, “I know sir. Pardon the urgency. Lol… means a lot.”
Meanwhile, Wizkid has signed a new artiste, MaleekBerry, on to his record label, Starboy Entertainment. He tweeted, “Y’all pay attention to the name MaleekBerry! Officially signed to Star boy Ent!”
